Biografie:
Professor Chen Zhi-qiang was born in 1957, and is today a chief physician, professor, and doctoral advisor at the Second Clinical Medicine College of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. 

He also serves as vice-president and director of the surgical teaching and research department. Professor Chen excels in the integrative treatment of stubborn and critical diseases, and also achieves fine therapeutic effects in the treatment of urinary and prostate conditions. He has supervised 6 research projects at both ministerial and provincial levels, and has been also distinguished with 5 provincial awards. He has published over 30 academic papers, serving as chief director of 4 monographs including Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment in Andriatrics with Chinese Medicine (published by People’s Medical Publishing House) and Integrative Surgery. He is also responsible for overseeing the national continuing education program. Professor Chen serves as the Director of the Specialty Board of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, Vice-director of the Special Andriatrics Board of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice-director of the Specialty Surgery Board of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is also a standing council member of the Chinese Medicine Specialty Board of the China Sexology Association.
